Go. Baptize.
Make Disciples.
Registration Form
Go. Baptize.
A Catechumenatte Training Institue for
congregations offered by NAAC.
October 1-3rd
St. John's Lutheran Church, Sacramento
Co-hosted by Trinity Cathedral and the
Episcopal Church of St. Martins
What is the you
can do
The catechumenate is rooted in the ancient
where discipleship
and faith
and in
formation were the primary means of
becoming part of the community of faith.
Rooted in baptism and affirmation of
baptism, a series of rites and learning
processes centers believers in a life of
discipleship, not simply membership. See
"...This institute is an opportunity to immerse yourself in
this process through which disciples are made, saints are
raised up and communities are transformed. The
leadership team from the North American Association for
the Catechumenate includes those on the forefront of
development of the catechumenate in North America.
Please do not miss this opportunity!"
The Rt. Rev. Barry L. Beisner
Bishop of the Episcopal DIocese for Northern Califronia
Who Should Attend?
Priests, pastors, deacons, worship leaders,
educators, catechetical teams, students,
and congregational teams are invited. All
participants will receive as part of the cost
of registration the book Go Make Disciples:
An Invitation to Baptismal Living.
“The Christian faith is more than something that is taught
by rote or in one day membership classes – it is caught. Catching the faith is what I understand the Catechumenate
to be about. It is a gift to the whole Church and a gift to
anyone who is a part of this journey.” Rev. Mark W. Holmerud
Bishop of the Sierra Pacific Synod, ELCA
