Each month we will run a demo time on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m.
You can pick up blocks on Friday and Saturday of the week of demo at no extra
By popular demand, we are continuing the program. Dates for 2014 are:
Thursdays – Jan.16thh, Feb. 20th, Mar. 20th, Apr.17st, May 15th, June 19th,
Sept. 18th, Oct.16th, Nov. 20th and Dec. 18th. Reveal of the complete
quilt at the Jan. 2015 meeting. Initial cost will be $10 to cover
registration & first block. If you come on the Thurs. demo night or any
time on Friday and Saturday of that week, at the designated time with
block done and stay for s short demo, you will pay $4 for the next.
block. If unable to make the time, blocks can be purchased for $6
each. There will be a finishing pattern available. Cost to be
determined later. Come in and register for your choice of fabric
selections and find out more about this. Need to register by Jan. 13th to
allow for block preparation.
Mail out is also available at $7.50 per block.

Quilt Retreat 2014 – June 23rd – 25th. – Book Time Off.

UFO Days – 2nd Monday of every month till June.. $5 charge. Limited spots.
Come in and enjoy quilting from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. We will give you help if needed
or just enjoy a day with the girls. Must sign up and pay ahead of time.
*Classes will run with a minimum of 5 people unless otherwise specified. If less than 5 are registered one
week prior to class date, the class will be cancelled or postponed. Please do not buy your supplies until
this point.
*Payment in full must accompany registration.
*Cancellation must take place 10 days before class, at which time registration fee, minus $5
administration fee, will be refunded to you. Phone registrations are accepted with VISA or MC.
*Due to copyright laws, class participants are required to have the pattern or book, if applicable.
*All students registered in classes receive 10% off their class materials.
*Basic supply list for all quilting classes is available as well as a supply list for each specific class.
*If required, kits can be made up for most classes. Give store a notice and we will be happy to provide you
with a kit.
*If patterns or books are required for a class, they will be sold to the students at 25% off.
Beginner Knitting: Instructor Fran Schaumleffel
2nd Thurs. – Jan. – May, 2014 6 – 9 p.m.
Fran will start off with the basics and will continue with more complex stitches.
Cost: $15/class. Take all 6 and pay up front - $60.
Number 4 yarn (marble chunky) and 4.5 mm needles required for the first class. You
will be making an infinity scarf.
Jan.11thth –9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Learn the basics of free motion quilting. Explore a variety of quilting patterns. This is a
technique class only. No pattern required. This class will give you the basics to take other
more advanced classes or complete projects of your own.

Ricky Tims Convergence Quilt
Feb. 8th - 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Create a fabulous quilt by taking two or more designs, cutting them into strips and
merging them together. Book required.
Sat. Feb. 15th – 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Instructor: Carol Wasylik Cost: $40.
We will teach you the basics of quilting, starting off with cutting, sewing a perfect ¼”
seam, and proper pressing techniques. You will complete a table runner. Proper tools,
pattern & fabric required. Buttoned Up pattern (Mountainpeek Creations) required.
Strip Quilt with Strip Tube Ruler
Sat. Mar. 1st – 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Instructor: Carol Wasylik Cost: $40
Choose one of Cozy Quilt Patterns that uses the strip tube ruler, and see how fast you
can make a wonderful quilt using 2 ½ “ strips. Pattern required. Jellyroll/2 ½” strip
pack suggested. Ruler also required.
French Braid Class

Choose a pattern from one of 3 books and create this most wonderful quilt.

Paper Piecing Made Easy
“Dining with the Star” s by Judy Neimeyer
Sat. Mar.. 15th – 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Using this pattern, we will walk you through the method of paper piecing to achieve precise
points and corners. Pattern required.
Fish Wallhanging by Susan Carlson
Sat. & Sun. Mar. 22nd & 23rd – 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Instructor: Alice Swan Cost: $75.00
Try your hand at fabric collage using Susan Carlson’s No Rules Approach. Choose one of three
fish patterns available. Finished project will be approximately 18” x 12”. This is an opportunity
to use those funky fabrics you have in your stash or long to buy. You will learn to see fabrics
differently. Pattern Rquired.
Night & Day by Eleanor Burns
Sat. & Sun. Apr. 12th & 13th – 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Instructor: Carol Wasylik Cost: $75.00
Select 2 or 3 fabrics with high contract to create the night and day effect.
Book required with template.
Hoopsisters 2014 Embroiderblock – Jacobean Journey
