Christmas Smartie Tube Parish Fundraiser Please could any remaining
Smartie Tubes be returned on or before December 25 and placed into the “Noel”
Box in the Church Porch under the wooden bench. If possible please gift aid your
donation by using the gift aid label, as it gives the Parish an extra 25p for each
pond donated. Thank you for your kind support..
Christmas Stamps/Religious Stamps When buying Christmas stamps, please
ask for those which reflect the religious meaning of Christmas. If we don’t show
that there is a demand for these, the Post Office will gradually stop printing them in
another step towards ignoring what Christmas means for believers.

Today’s Gospel reminds us to remember that our lives together will not go on for
ever. It is therefore so important to thank God every day for the wonderful gift that
we are to each other, indeed one of the greatest gifts that the Father has given us.
