SCU/MP & LAMB recently donated gear to children in
Honduras. In many cases, these kids have nothing or
have to share everything. These shirts may be the only
item that some of these children can call their own. They
love soccer more than anything and our friends that took
these items could not say enough about how thankful
and excited these children were for our gifts.
LAMB is a Christian outreach organization working in
Honduras to help save kids from human trafficking,
poverty and gang life to name a few hopes. Today, LAMB
operates a school for children in one of the most violent
and poverty stricken areas, a large youth outreach
program, multiple community programs, and a
residential home outside the city for over 65 children
who came from situations of abuse and neglect.
The kids play soccer and are mentored. The mission has
a 100 percent success rate in that all the teens that have
been involved with it have managed to escape the gang
lifestyle that so many of these Honduran children
become a part of.
