Create a dynamic learning environment with easy-to-implement multimedia skills and a model for engagement and feedback. Webinar Workshop Goal Participants will be provided with the inspiration, tools, knowledge, and skills allowing them to expand the scope of their teaching activities beyond the limits of the face-to-face classroom. After finishing the course and reaching the objectives, participants will have attained competencies that will make their online and face-to-face lectures a much more effective learning intervention by using technology assisted interactivity. Webinar Workshop Objectives At the end of the event, participants should be able to: 1. Broadcast a training event on the internet and include: a. A presentation. b. A video. 2. Generate interaction with open-ended questions. 3. Generate interaction with multiple-choice questions. 4. Use technology assisted interactivity in face to face teaching. After the course, the ICO will give support to participants to develop their own webinars. Course Modality This online course will be conducted using a mixture of synchronous and asynchronous phases. • Asynchronous phases: Participants work at their own pace watching lectures and participating in discussion forums with the assistance of tutors. • Synchronous phases: Participants connect live to webinars. Webinars will try to best accommodate the different time zones of participants. Webinars will also be recorded and available for participants that are not able to attend the live webinars.
