The Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration will host their annual Summer Monastic Experience from Sat., June 20-Sat. June 27, at their monastery in Clyde, MO. Participants are invited to join the community to experience singing the Divine Office, participate in daily Eucharist, Adoration and Exposition, and share in community meals, recreation and monastic work. During the week, they will learn about Lectio Divina, the Rule of St. Benedict, different ways to pray, how to recognize the signs of a religious calling and creating silent spaces in one’s life. The event is for single women between the ages of 18-47 who are discerning a call to religious life. Room and board are provided, and there is no cost to attend.
