Non-profits Call Coordination Meeting on Nepal Earthquake
Namlo International, Developing Hands, the Colorado Nepal Alliance, and
Mobileyez International Foundation, Capra Nepal, Sagoon Financial Alliance
will be having a meeting at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, April 29th to explore
ways to coordinate efforts and resources in response to the recent earthquake in
Nepal. With the death toll in Nepal exceeding 3,000 with over 6,000 injured,
these organizations, with significant ties to Nepal, will be looking at common
goals and objectives to create a long-term, coordinated, Colorado response the
the emergency.
The meeting will take place at Namlo’s offices, located at 8790 W. Colfax Ave.,
suite 100 in Lakewood Colorado. The meeting planners particularly seek out
those organizations or individuals with ties to Nepal, or interests in supporting relief and rehabilitation efforts. This will be the first of what is hoped will be ongoing discussion as to Coloradans can effectively play a significant role in relief efforts and bring help to those who need it the most.
