Senior Pastor Hickory Baptist Church - Hickory, Kentucky 2000 to 2001
As Pastor I took care of the pulpit responsibilities for all Sunday and Wednesday night services
and oversaw the main areas of children, youth, and adult discipleship. I successfully
implemented the F.A.I.T.H. visitation program and gave guidance to the deacon board. I helped
oversee a food bank ministry, strategically using this benevolence ministry as an outreach tool. I
provided management for the part-time staff including a worship leader and custodian.
Youth Minister Sagamore Hill Baptist Church - Fort Worth, Texas 1997 to 2000
I was tasked with leading all areas of an urban youth ministry which included discipleship
programs, outreach events, attracting and training a full slate of volunteers, and providing
leadership for a youth praise team. I executed these duties faithfully while being a devoted
husband and a full time student at the Master's level.
Youth Minister / Associate Pastor Sedalia Baptist Church - Sedalia , Kentucky 1993-1996
I provided leadership for the youth and children's ministry by developing discipleship programs,
fellowship-building experiences, and key outreach events. I was called upon the fill the pulpit in
the Senior Pastor's absence.
Secular Work Experience:
Lead Chaplain Marketplace Ministries 2003 to present
I am responsible for leading a team of five workplace chaplains to grant pastoral care for
employees of a poultry processing operation (Pilgrims). This team and I give pastoral care to well
over 1,300 employees. I help recruit, train, and orient each chaplain and also serve as
Marketplace Ministry's liaison between the upper level management of the Pilgrim's Plant and
the management of Marketplace. In addition, I make work site visits with employees, building
rapport and providing pastoral advice and spiritual guidance when needed.

With classified and secret security clearances I oversaw the upper level maintenance of
weapons, communications and night vision equipment for a light infantry unit. I received

eventually selected as our company commander's Communication Specialist and was recognized
with several awards for my service to the United States Army.
