Preparation Instructions
MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
Add one cup of warm water to 1 pound of sopapilla mix and mix to form a soft ball.
Cover and allow dough to "set" for 20 minutes.
NOTE: if dough seems to be a little stiff, a little more than one cup of water may be required.
Heat cooking oil (at least 3 " deep) to 375ºF.
After dough has set, roll to 1/8" thickness on lightly floured board to 9" x 12" rectangle.
Cut into 3" squares with pizza cutter or knife.
Drop squares into hot oil, allow to puff, then turn until brown on both sides.
Serve while hot.
