Garlic Hummus Ingredients: 4 garlic cloves (minced) 2 cans (15oz) garbanzo beans, drained (sometimes they are called chickpeas) 2/3rd cup tahini (roasted, not raw) 1 freshly squeezed lemon 1/2 cup water (optional if you are using a blender this makes things a little easier on it) 1/4 cup olive oil 1/2 tsp garlic salt (to taste) 1/2 tsp cumin (If you don’t have cumin in your spice cabinet I’d highly recommend it! It adds a lot of flavor to foods without adding a lot of salt) 1/4 tsp black pepper or cayenne pepper (omit if your toddler doesn’t like spicy foods) -Blend & Enjoy! Avocado Hummus Ingredients: 1/2 can of garbanzo beans, drained 1 large avocado or 2 small 3 tbsp tahini 1/2 freshly squeezed lemon (You can used 1 whole lemon if you like a tart taste) 1/2 cup water 1/2 tsp cumin garlic salt & pepper to taste 1/4 cup olive oil (optional for consistency) -Blend & Enjoy!
