TEMPORARY PROGRAM TECHNICIAN

The U.S. Dept. of Agriculture Farm Service Agency (FSA) has a full-time temporary appointment in the Oroville Service Center.
A background investigation must be completed before a firm offer of employment can be made, and a start date will be
determined at that time. The position will be appointed for 7 to 9 pay periods, and is subject to budgetary needs.
We are looking for a full-time employee that is a team player and self-motivated; can multi-task with attention to detail, and
work directly with customers. Familiarity with agriculture is a plus.
On the job training will be provided on specific farm programs, and the employee will be responsible for working directly with
our customers, providing program information, taking applications, and preparing the necessary files for review.
High school graduate (or GED), and U.S. citizenship required. Minimum two years office experience preferred, as well as a
professional and courteous demeanor. General office, math, and computer skills (especially Word and Excel) needed; along
with excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
Starting pay will depend on qualifications, and may range from a grade CO-3 of $12.10/hour to CO-4
$13.59/hour.
