“Called to Bless and be Blessed” — A Series on the local church
“Ambassadors of Christ ”
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone,
the new has come! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself
through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was
reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against
them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his
appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to
God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we
might become the righteousness of God.

for the Year
Sundar Dhoka (Nepal)
Sundar Dhoka Saathi Sewa (SDSS)
is a non-profit organization run by a small church in
Kathmandu, Nepal. SDSS reaches out to the poor,
needy and marginalized and welcomes them into
community. Many of the church congregation are
Sundar Dhoka,
disabled in some way including the pastor who
Nepal Clinic
himself is paraplegic.
The Child Heart and Rehabilitation Fund run by SDSS has continued to
YFC Middle East
grow since its inception in 2006 when the generosity of EBCG resulted in the
first donation to the project. Since that time, EBCG has been instrumental in
Jews4Jesus, Suisse helping this small church of handicapped people fulfill their calling to the Lord by
praying and financially supporting the ongoing work of the Patient Navigator
Programme. Over the past year, more than 120 children between the ages of 2
months and 16 years old, were cared for by the program and received medical
care for severe physical disabilities or life threatening congenital heart disease.
The children selected for the program come from the most remote areas of
YFC Middle East
Nepal. Many of them come from villages with no running water or electricity
and many of these families find new life in Christ through this program.
The generous support from EBCG towards the SDSS building project
two years ago was instrumental in helping the growth of this ministry. The
Sundar Dhoka church has also grown! As a result of the ministry to the patients,
Salaam Alaikum
12 churches have been planted throughout the country with support from the
Sundar Dhoka church. They also support several house churches in
Kathmandu valley.
The congregation of SDSS sends its deepest love and gratitude for the
prayers and significant financial support provided by EBCG over the past eight
LINK Au Pairs
years. Please pray for SDSS leadership and the church congregation as they
expand their programs, hire new staff and oversee this growing ministry.
Salaam Alaikum
Please pray that they do not lose the original "village" approach which God
blessed and through which He made them so successful.
