This came as he received at sakhir Palace Royal Windsor Horse show director Brigadier simon Brooks. His Majesty said the kingdom has been taking part in the Royal Windsor Horse show and achieving advanced positions and results. He said Bah- n His Majesty receives Mr Brooks rain’s participation is part of long-standing solid relations bonding the two kingdoms. Bahrain should take advantage of the festival, attended by officials from all over the world, to promote its achievements in various fields, he said. The King pointed out that such events confirm the dis- tinguished status of the sport, stressing that Bahrain has the best genuine Arabian horse studs which are registered in the World Arabian Horse Organisation. Scheme to ensure schoolchildren’s safety POlicE in Muharraq are launching a scheme to ensure the safety of schoolchildren. The Muharraq police station aims to protect children who walk to school by determining suitable routes for them and deploying policemen there. This was revealed as interior Minister lt Gen shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa yesterday visited the Muharraq Governorate police directorate. The BD5 million state-of-the-art school accommodates 1,300 students and offers modern educational facilities. The design adopts energy-saving methods such as thermal insulation for roofs and walls and heat insulating glass, and takes into account facilities for students with special needs.
