Registration Fees
Congress Registration fees include:

Official Congress Badge and Bag including all Congress material

Coffee Breaks
Daily coffee breaks are scheduled in the exhibition and poster area. Tickets and are included
in the full congress registration fees. Coffee and beverages are also available for purchase
during the congress.
Lunch is not included in the registration fee but food and beverage outlets will be available
throughout the congress centre for delegates to purchase lunch items. All delegates have the
opportunity to pre-purchase lunch tickets through the online registration form. The price is 8€
which includes a vegetarian or non-vegetarian sandwich plus drink.

Student Registration
Students registering at the discounted student registration category will be requested to show
a valid student ID or official notification from their institution at the registration desk. If such
information cannot be presented, the applicable regular registration fees will be charged and
is payable onsite.
Congress Party
Congress registration fees do not include tickets to the congress party on 24 June. Tickets (50
€) can be purchased through the online registration system. You are advised to purchase your
ticket before the congress as limited tickets will be available for sale onsite. Tickets will
include a drink and a light snack.
Confirmation of Registration
On completion of (online) Congress registration an e-acknowledgement including all the
details of your registration will be immediately emailed. Within two weeks after receipt of
registration fee payment an official confirmation will be sent by email.
Approximately two weeks before the Congress, delegates will receive an email including all
other logistical details and important Congress information.
Payment Deadlines and Conditions
Registrations can only be confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Full payment must be
received before the corresponding deadlines to receive early or late registration fees. After
each deadline expires, the subsequent rate applies automatically. A PO number of Bon de
Commande is not considered a valid proof of payment.
Credit Card
Credit Card payment (EURO only) is the preferred method of payment. The following credit
cards are accepted as part of the online registration process: VISA, MasterCard, and
American Express.
Bank Transfer
Payments by bank transfer are accepted. All payments must be made to the bank account
details provided with the invoice sent via email after online registration. Bank Transfers must
clearly state participant name and invoice number. All banking fees must be borne by the
Cancellation and Replacement (name change) Policies
Cancellations of registrations are subject to an administrative charge of 50 EURO provided
the cancellation is received on or before 24 April, 2015. For cancellations received after this
date no refunds will be made. All cancellations must be made in writing to the Registration
department and refunds will only be made after the Congress.
Replacements (delegate name change) of a registration may be made on or before 24 April,
2015 free of charge. Replacements made on after 24 April, 2015 are subject to an
administrative fee of 25 EURO.

Lost badge policy
Reprints of lost badges onsite during the congress are subject to an administrative charge of
25 Euro.
Letter of Invitation
On request, the organisers can issue a letter of invitation to attend the Congress. Such an
invitation is extended specifically to assist participants to obtain travel funds, appropriate
visas, approvals, sponsorship or official leave. It does not imply a commitment on the part of
the organizers to provide any support, financial or otherwise. Only registered delegates who
have paid their Congress registration fees in full will be issued with a letter of invitation.
Registration fees do not include accommodation. ISPO has negotiated special rates for
congress delegates at a number of hotels in Lyon. For more information, and to make online

The city of Lyon offers a complimentary travel pass to be used for all public transport in the
city. This pass will be provided with your registration badge. No Congress bus shuttles or
transportation is arranged or included in the registration fees.
the organizers of 15th ISPO World Congress do not accept liability for individual medical,
travel or personal insurance and participants are strongly advised to make their own
arrangements regarding health and travel insurance.
The official language of the Congress is English. A select number of sessions will be held in
French or have simultaneous interpretation in French. Further information will be available in the
final programme and on the congress web pages.
