D.C. PIZZA will be available, every Tuesday. Tony’s pizza, of Beecher, will supply the pizza and orders will
be taken (and paid for), on Tuesday mornings, for $2.50 per slice. Choices include sausage, pepperoni or cheese.
Snacks and/or water will be available for 50¢ each. P.T.L. lunch money may NOT be used to purchase pizza!
Hot lunch information (including menu and account balance) is available on Fast Direct!

HEALTH REMINDER: Parents ~ Please be aware of the policy stated in the handbook regarding student illness. Students
are not permitted to attend school until they are fever free (without the use of medication) as well as symptom free ~ for

THANK YOU to all parents who donated items toward the Classroom Baskets for Zion’s 5 th Dinner Auction.
With direction from the teachers and the participation of the parents, the classroom baskets were phenomenal and added
much interest to the silent auction. Your support of the Dinner Auction is greatly appreciated and helped us raise additional
funds for Zion Lutheran Church and School. Zion Dinner Auction Committee
2014-2015 HEARTWARMERS permission slips were sent home with students in grades one through eight. The
first meeting (for those that returned permission slips) was yesterday. Heartwarmers will continue to meet every
Monday that school is in session. This program is a magnificent blessing to the residents of Beecher Manor and
also to our students that are showing God’s love with their actions! PICK UP TIME FOR HEARTWARMERS WILL NOW BE
4:30pm (due to current dismissal time for our school and district). Parents, please modify your schedule to adjust to this time
change. As always, we appreciate your cooperation!!

CHEERLEADING PRACTICES: Practices will be held every Tuesday, from 3:00-4:30pm. Athletic physicals must be on
file in order to participate. Questions may be directed to Coach Rhonda Stadt or Coach Kim Sparenberg.
Basketball questions may be directed to Coach and Athletic Director, Mr. Jordan Hopman.
Cheerleading questions may be directed to Coach Rhonda Stadt or Coach Kim Sparenberg.
THANK YOU to everyone that bought and/or sold pies, for our November Pie Order campaign,
through Market Day. 320 pies were sold and we are very appreciative of your efforts! Great job!
THANK YOU to ALL of the participants of our recent fundraising opportunity with Carson’s Community Days. To date, Zion
collected $1,190.00 and we could not have done it without you!! These proceeds will be used toward the water filtration
project, for the benefit of our students. Thank you for your efforts. We appreciate you!

AUNT MILLIE’S BAKERIES wants packages of 50 labels! On October 31st, PTL sent out 100 Aunt Millie’s School Spirit
labels for this .10 special! Good news ~ PTL has 20 prepared for the next special mailing! This is a very simple fundraiser.
We all make sandwiches for our family lunches. When you purchase Aunt Millie’s bread and cut out the School Spirit Label,
please send the labels (to school) with your children. Pass the word along to grandmas, aunts, neighbors, fellow church
members, co-workers. Every little bit can add up to a lot at the end. Thank you everyone!
PICTURE RETAKE DAY ~ is scheduled for Wednesday, December 3rd, from 9:30am – 1:15pm, in the Conference Room.
Although we have not received our photo packets yet, we want you to have the retake information, for planning purposes.
Once you receive your child’s photos, if you wish to have a retake, please return the complete packet and write re-take on
the photo packet. Original photos must be returned in order to have retake photos.
