Nottingham Forest Football Club
‘Myself and my wife got married at Nottingham Forest Football Club
recently. Throughout the whole process from choosing rooms to staging the
event to food, we were looked after with our best interests in mind. The team

We are wedding specialists and our wedding packages have been specially
created to ensure they include everything you need, plus some tempting
The City Ground is licensed to hold Civil Marriages and Civil Partnerships
on non-match days in The Boardroom, Robin Hood Suite and the Executive
Suite. These ceremonies must be non-religious and any readings, music or
performances, which form any part of the ceremony, must be secular.

All of our packages are subject to minimum numbers of 45.

Our Civil Ceremony packages include:
Room hire of the ceremony suite for duration of the ceremony.
Use of PA system for ceremony music.

The Robin Hood Suite
A lovely room for up to 240 people with secondary natural daylight, a bar
and a dancefloor. This room has been home to many important club
celebrations over the years and would be a wonderful setting for your
important day.
The Boardroom
A prestigious room for up to 50 people - take your marriage vows
surrounded by our glittering trophies and silverware.
Executive Suite
A spacious room in the iconic Brian Clough stand with natural daylight
adding a warm atmosphere to your ceremony. Enjoy the Munich and Madrid
lounges immediately outside the Executive Suite with a bar in each lounge
and surrounded by memorable images from our European Cup winning days

show round with us to help you to choose the right suite for your big day.

Cultural Wedding Celebrations
The City Ground is one of Nottingham’s most popular venues for cultural
celebrations and under the guidance of our Head Chef and subject to our
terms and conditions, your external catering company may be allowed use
of our kitchens. Our largest suite can accommodate up to 600 people, has
natural daylight and its’ own private access on the banks of the River Trent
plus let us show you our smaller event suites which are ideal for your pre
wedding celebrations. With you in mind, we have created a complete package
which includes the following

Your Questions Answered
Are the function suites easily accessible for my guests?
All suites available for your wedding have access to stairs and lifts. Our team
on duty will also assist with your guests’ arrival. Wedding attendees are also
able to use the complimentary on-site car parking facilities while attending
your wedding.
Can you have photographs taken around the stadium?
The immediate bridal party will be escorted around the stadium for
photographs. Areas including pitch side are accessible to your party and
photographer on your special day.
Do you have limited dates available during the season?
Ceremonies and receptions can be conducted throughout the year, however
we can only guarantee Saturday bookings during the close season (June - July).
If you are looking for a Saturday during the football season, a variable
contract can be arranged with the date being finalised when fixtures are
confirmed. This does not suit everyone, but we do offer a discounted
package to couples booking on this basis.
Is it possible for one of the players to attend my wedding?
Unfortunately due to various other commitments, players are not able to
attend individual events.
Do I have to book a package?
Our wedding packages have been carefully selected to include all of the
special aspects most brides and grooms expect. If your party is smaller than
our minimum numbers, a supplement to the package may be charged.
Bespoke packages are available and it is always worth discussing it with us
and we will try to work with you if we can.
When do you require final numbers?
Final numbers should be advised 30 days before your wedding. Your coordinator will also check for any other amendments prior to your wedding
Are we able to provide our own catering?
Azure Support Services are the official stadium caterers and will provide all
the catering for your event. External caterers may be permitted for cultural
weddings and are subject to restricted terms and conditions on this basis.
Do you cater for special diets and children?
Yes, we are able to cater for most dietary requirements and will be happy to
assist you with individual needs. A copy of the children’s menu is included in
each of our packages.
Do you provide table linen and napkins?
Standard table linen and napery is included and you can choose from white
or ivory (this comes at an additional cost) cloths and a selection of napery
that can be matched to your accent colours. Superior linens and chair covers
are included in the Diamond Package and are also available as an upgrade on
the City and Ruby packages.
Do I order my own flowers and centrepieces?
A top table arrangement will be supplied as part of your wedding package
and will be designed according to your colour scheme. We can also assist
you with floral pedestal and table arrangements, balloons, candelabras and
other centrepieces. We work with a selection of suppliers, however, we are
happy to work with suppliers of your choice.
Do you have a cake stand?
If you have ordered a tiered cake, your cake supplier should be able to
organise this for you.
Do you have a resident band or DJ or can we arrange our own?
We can arrange everything from a DJ and disco to a full brass band on
your behalf and we work with some of Nottingham’s top acts. You are also
welcome to make your own arrangements.
Booking Your Wedding With Us
While you are making the final decision on your wedding venue, we can hold
a provisional booking in our diary to ensure the date you want is reserved
for you. We will hold this for a maximum of 14 days when it must be
confirmed or released.
Upon receiving your confirmation, we will issue you with a set of terms and
conditions which must be signed and returned to us within 7 days with a
£500 non-refundable deposit.
Your terms and conditions will include:
• The package you are booking
• Minimum numbers attending your wedding breakfast
• Room hire (if applicable)
• Minimum buffet numbers for your evening reception (if applicable)
You are welcome to contact us whenever you have any questions in the run
up to your wedding, however if we do not hear from you, we will contact
you as follows:
6 months before
We will call you to arrange a planning meeting and menu tasting.
4 months before
We will schedule in your wedding rehearsal and start to finalise your wedding
event plan.
1 month before
We will ask for final payment to be made and will be in touch regularly to
ensure everything is going well.
