private cloud, with intelligent, self-service provisioning of
workloads onto their computing infrastructure. Our cloud
service enables the use of existing and new virtualized servers
to power private clouds in a minutes, while interoperating
seamlessly with existing processes and management
Features at-a-glance
• Existing or new virtualized servers can power your private
cloud within minutes.
Based on OpenStack, but delivered with unique IP to
simplify the operational experience and reduce costs.
Self-service virtual machine provisioning for dev/test
Seamless integration with existing IT processes and
Easy, intuitive user interface and CLIs / REST APIs
Support for KVM, with upcoming support for docker
containers and VMware vSphere
Target Audience
• IT and dev/test leaders looking to empower their users
with agile, self-service provisioning
• Organizations looking for a private alternative to AWS
• 100% Cloud managed: Platform9 is delivered as a cloud
service to provide the best possible user experience and
lowest total cost of ownership.

For Users
Infrastructure Monitoring
Maintain a central repository of virtual machine images that
can be deployed and shared with different users.
• Public catalog: Download images for popular Open source
Operating System Distributions.
• Existing images: Import local images directly, or via URL.
• Linked clones: Reduce storage footprint by de-duplicating
data across virtual machines created from same image.
