Our Staff, Family, Resident Newspaper
November 2014
The family of Patricia Calnan approached staff about honouring their Mother and loved
one and recognizing the care that she received at the John Noble Home during her time with
us. In discussion with the staff we recognized the need for another palliative care cart to
support the loved ones of our
residents at the end of their life.
This palliative care cart will be
kept on Costain Court where she
lived and help to support future
families during this very difficult
time. The palliative care
committee and staff wish to thank
the Calnan family for this
generous donation in memory of
their Mother and loved one. All
donations are greatly appreciated.
The Palliative Care Committee
assists in allowing us to continue
to support families at their time of
need.

Day and Stay ProgramProgram-November 2014
Summer has flown by and our clients are enjoying the beautiful fall colours. Many craft ideas have been
happening in the Day and Stay Program. Art is a wonderful therapeutic activity that all of our clients can
take part in and the clients love to take home their creations to show their families!
The Day and Stay Program has been busy getting ready for Accreditation. This process is important to us to
help us better our program and provide quality care and services for our clients.
The Centre is being decorated to honour REMEMBRANCE DAY. We have some veterans who attend our
program and we want to show them that we are grateful for their service to our country.
Our beautiful garden is all ready for winter. Thank you to Carol Howarth and Judy Pearson for all of their
hard work. These ladies continue to volunteer their time and we are grateful.
Volunteers are very important to us. We are seeking volunteers to come in on the weekend and do some
cleaning and some outside yard work. If you or someone you know might be interested please call the Day
and Stay at 519-756-2920 ext 286.
