COUNTRY
Langley is a gently undulating property with a mix of quality Brigalow & Associated softwood scrub
country and very fertile alluvial flood out country along the creek and river systems that transverse
the property. There is also a small area of forest country.
Langley comprises approximately 1500 acres of alluvial and scrub soil cultivation, the balance is
pulled scrub buffel grass country with the exception of the alluvial flood out country along the
Connors & Isaac Rivers & May Downs Creek.
Approximately 2500 acres of the pulled country has been blade ploughed.
Buffel is the predominant grass on Langley. Native grasses on the flood out country include
Forest Mitchell and Blue Grass. With Bambatsi Panic introduced to this area as well. Seca Stylo
is established throughout the property.

Langley is watered by an abundance of natural permanent and semi-permanent water holes along
the Connors and Isaacs River and May Downs Creek and their channels and anabranches.
The Connors River forms the Eastern boundary of Langley being predominantly fenced waterholes.
