NEW MASS TIMES FOR WEEKDAYS AND SUNDAYS
From 29th/30th November, Sunday Masses will be at 6.15pm on Saturday evening and on Sunday morning at
8.30am (Quiet Mass), 10.30am (Parish Mass for Families) and 12 noon (Sung Mass in the Extraordinary Form).
On Sunday evenings there will be Sung Latin Vespers at 6pm followed by Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.

SATURDAY MORNING EXPOSITION
The new period of Exposition on Saturday morning is quite well attended at the end but rather sparse at the
beginning. Sue Whitaker is organizing a rota like the one we had for Thursdays. Please contact her if you are

CONFESSIONS
PARABLE OF THE TALENTS FUNDRAISING
Next week, on 16th November, we will be hearing the Parable of the Talents at Mass. We are proposing to take
this rather literally and hand out £10 for parishioners to take away and make ten (or more!) pounds for the parish
between now and next Lent. If you are interested in seeing what you can do to use your talents to add value
please contact Fr Richard or Eileen Sparks, [email protected] or sign up on the list at the back of church.
(Cooks might see this as a way of kick-starting coffee and cakes after the 11am or 10.30am Mass!)

There are new lists on the board in the porch and copies in the Sacristy to take away.
NOVEMBER - MONTH OF THE HOLY SOULS - REQUIEM MASSES
Envelopes for the November Masses will be at the back of the church. Please hand them in to the Sacristy or
through the Rectory door. There will be Requiem Masses at 12.10pm on 13th, 14th, 19th and 27th November.
CHRISTMAS RAFFLE PRIZES
Prizes are needed for the annual Christmas Raffle. Please sign the sheet in the porch if you can help, or see

YORK INTERPAROCHIAL FORUM
The first meeting of the York Interparochial Forum met last week to discuss the Pastoral Area. There are some
copies of the report now available in the porch.
MIDDLESBROUGH DIOCESAN SCHOOL STANDARDS ADVISER
The Diocese wants to appoint a Catholic as a School Standards Adviser. Details are on the board in the porch.

A charity dinner will be held on Saturday, December 20th at Bedern Hall (Black Tie or Lounge Suit). All proceeds

St George’s Old Boys Association are having their third annual reunion on Friday, 21st November from 7:00pm
