Junior High Cheerleading practice will begin Tuesday, October 21st from 6-8 in the Waldron

The Fowler Band and Music Boosters are still looking for a few workers to help with this
Friday's game against P-W. It is sure to be a great game and your help would be greatly

Tri-Mer Corporation and RWI Manufacturing (both of Owosso MI) has donated a very unique,
custom made fire ring to the Band and Music Boosters. We will be holding a raffle drawing for the
item at the Fowler vs P-W football game this Friday. Tickets will sell for $5 each and will ONLY BE
AVAILABLE AT THE GAME. The ring will be on display at the game near the concession stand.
Congratulations to Mr. Brown’s 1st hour class and Mrs. Blackwell’s class for winning the pizza
party extravaganza! Pizza/Pop/Popsicles will be served in the cafeteria on Friday, NOVEMBER 7th at
2:15 p.m. for both winning classes. There will also be a silly string shoot-out the same day (Nov.
7th) at 2:45 p.m. in Piggott gym. All classes are welcome to come view the silly string shoot-out, it
should only take a few minutes! Please escort your classes to the gym at 2:40, be seated and ready for the
silly string shoot out by 2:45 p.m. SHARP.

Students must decide who their target is by this Friday and let the office know! Yes, more than one person
can choose the same target!
FYI - This week our 4th grade class travels to Potter Park Zoo for “The Big Zoo Lesson”!
Congratulations to the 6th grade girls on their 1st place win at the Greater Lansing Champions
Meet yesterday! They beat out 25 other schools and 10 girls ran personal best times at the meet! NICE!
K-3rd Teachers - Jump With Jill will be here for an assembly this Wednesday at 1:45 p.m. in the
cafeteria. Jump with Jill is a music-based health program for kids that makes nutrition education rock,
offering audiences live concerts, recorded music, video experiences, and cross-curricular classroom activities.
Next Week (Oct. 20-24) is Middle School Red Ribbon Week. Student Council has set up the
following days:
Hat Day- Put a cap on drugs(Monday)
Camo Day- Hide from drugs (Tuesday)
Funny Clothes Day - Laugh at drugs (Wednesday)
Super Hero Day- Save yourself from drugs(Thursday)
Red Day- (Friday)
Picture Re-Takes - Retakes are scheduled for November 12th.
Fowler T-shirts and Sweatshirts (ORDER FROM DUE THIS FRIDAY) - Support our band and
music programs by ordering Fowler Eagle t-shirts and sweatshirts. Just in time for the holidays - these

Red Ribbon Week will be celebrated at Waldron during the week of Oct. 20-24th. Student
council will be putting together activities to be announced soon!
POWER SCHOOL IS HERE! Middle School Parents & Students (Grades 5-8) - The Power School Parent
Portal is up and running! Power School grade books are active for students in grades 5-8. Letters
were distributed to students! If you did not receive one please call the office and we help you
out. This is is a great tool for parents to monitor student progress! Contact the office with questions or

Box Tops - Once again this year we are collecting Box Tops for Education and TYSON labels (found
on frozen Tyson food products). The box top logo can be found on many, many items...please save
and send them to school! Every dime helps!
Lunch $ / Meal Magic - Lunch Money can be sent to school daily, weekly, monthly, etc.
Lunches should be paid for ahead of time, not after the fact. Also, the new website is up and running. You can pay by credit card on this site, however there is a
$2 fee per transaction. If you need your child’s ID, please contact the Waldron office or Michael Wensel.
