The Reuters Journalism Program offers an opportunity to develop your
reporting skills across a variety of subject areas and media.

in reporting and writing skills • Coaching from experienced Reuters journalists
From the
beginning, Reuters
ethics, values and
structure were instilled
in us, which helped
greatly as we started to report and
write. I had never studied journalism
before, and the Reuters program
enabled me to gain experience in
both text and video journalism,
covering finance, commodities,
general news and sports.

I’ve sat on a sofa
in one of the world’s
most expensive
apartments, met prime
ministers, squeezed
into military jets and covered major
breaking political and financial
stories – moments that remind me
of how unpredictable, exciting and
important my job can be. The
Reuters Journalism Program was the
first step towards a career that has
allowed me to travel, to learn
something new every day and to
cover big global stories.

The Reuters
Journalism Program
exposed me to aspects
of journalism I never
would have learned on
my own. I got to see how central
banks affect financial markets, how
oil flows make the world go round
and how grains storage in China
shifts world food prices. On top of
all that, I spent time working with
amazing photo editors in
Reuters Pictures.
