Hotels & Resorts addresses are celebrating National Burger Month with locally inspired
signature burgers paired with craft beers available through the end of June.
“We’re excited to kick-off the summer season with our chefs’ mouthwatering takes on America’s

Loews Vanderbilt Hotel, Nashville
o The Burger: Chef Brandon Frohne’s “Don Quixote Burger” features
brisket/short rib burger with avocado slaw, queso flameado chorizo, sunny egg,
padron peppers and goo goo cluster mole.
o The Brew: Jackalope Brewing Company’s Thunder Ann APA includes notes of
apricot and mango in addition to a citrus bouquet. Honey and biscuit malts
contribute to the body as well, creating a friendly-yet-bold American Pale Ale.
Loews New Orleans Hotel
o The Burger: The “Absinthe BBQ Burger” by Chef Carl Schaubhut is a beef patty
topped with buttermilk fried onions, bacon, Manchego cheese, and an Absinthe and
diced red raisin barbeque sauce for a tart fruit tan served with lemon-herb
Parmesan fries on the side.
o The Brew: Abita Purple Haze is produced just 30 miles north of New Orleans at
a brewery in the piney wood, the red raisin and botanicals in the barbeque sauce
pair well with the raspberries brewed in the beer, creating a fruity aroma and tart
taste with every bite.
Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Orlando
o The Burger: Chef Leon Teow’s “Portofino Buddha Burger” is an angus beef and
Kalbi Korean short rib burger topped with Uniagi sake sauce, pickled vegetables, pea
sprouts, and Sriracha Mayo on a toasted brioche bun.
o The Brew: Funky Buddha Floridian Hefeweizan is light on the palate with
compelling aromas of citrus and cloves that balance the burger’s layered flavors.
