for the registered competitor.
Spirit Award was presented to Falcon Motorsport for the untiring work to ready their cars and additional
attention to other teams to help supply parts. This award may be given at each round if we feel any party in our
Championship deserves additional congratulations for their ‘spirit’ of motorsport.
Snap-On Business Solutions Technician Award is chosen from the competing teams, to win a £250 Snap-on
tool voucher. At the end of the season Snap-on Business Solutions will award a tool cabinet worth £3000 to the
mechanic deemed to have put in the biggest effort overall. Our technical team judged Howard English at
Double R Racing to have won this for his work over the event on the car of Gustavo Myasava, which needed
much additional attention through the event.
Normally these awards will be announced and presented about 40 minutes after Race 3, in the Race Centre.
Should you need more results packs of the event please download them from www.tsl-timing.com (link on our
website). Photographs of the event are available on www.jakobebrey.com.

25th April (07:55-08:55) and repeated on ITV 27th April (02:30-03:30). Transmission times are provisional so

Judicial.
Drivers and entrant team managers/guardians of cars 8, 11, 14, 15, 18 and 31 were interviewed by the Clerk of
the Course (David Pierre) to ascertain how various on-track incidents occurred in both qualifying and racing
sessions. Additional official television and in-car footage was also studied in supplement to the observer
reports received.
Breaking track limits was a particular concern over some driving standards. Greater car control is needed.
Drivers are also reminded that if they lose their grid position on the green flag lap, and all cars overtake them,
they MUST NOT take up their original grid position. They must start from the back of the grid. Driver of car 17
therefore received a drive through penalty during the race for his out of position grid start.
www.msaformula.com
Race 3 – driver of car 31 was excluded from the results of the race for overtaking under yellow flags under MSA
regulation C2.1.7 / G5.3.2 (offence C1.1.6 flag signals; Q15.1.2). 4 penalty points were recorded on his race
licence. His team entrant exercised his right of appeal to the stewards (MSA regulation C6.1) and this is
scheduled to be heard early at the Donington Park event, 18th April. Results of Race 3, prize money and
championship points are therefore provisional pending the outcome of this appeal hearing. Amended provisional
results are attached with this document.
Clerk of the Course David Pierre is particularly keen that all drivers are congratulated on how well they
responded to the Safety Car period in the first race on Saturday. This was well handled and gaps were closed
up.

Race Suits. Please look after your championship race suit. Some knee/elbow pads are available. If
you wish to add logos to your suit, and they do not clash with main championship sponsors, please stitch them
by hand, using Nomex thread, onto the first layer of the suit only. DO NOT use a sewing machine which will
destroy the suit flame-proofing. To wash, turn inside out and machine wash on cool or 30°C temperature using
a gentle soap, ideally savon Marseille – or dry clean. Dry and store away from sun, moon and direct heat.

2.1
Championship Clothing. This is to be worn through the race weekend please, when not in your race
suits. Put your name on the inside labels and we suggest you keep all your race weekend items in the Ford bags
which will be supplied at Donington Park with your jackets and polos shirts, so you do not forget anything for
each event.
2.2
Filming and Footage guidelines. Please be aware there are specific permissions required for use of
footage or doing your own filming at TOCA events. Recorded footage is available at over £100 cost to order by
Wednesday of race meeting (for Sunday live race). No BTCC/ITV footage can be broadcast on random
‘YouTube’ or similar Internet sites, but can be broadcast on your individual dedicated team/driver/sponsor
website or official YouTube site. Contact me if you have an urgent request. Failure to follow directives may
oblige ITV or TOCA to issue blanket bans over everybody.
ITV has exclusive UK broadcast rights on all race footage for 7 days after each event. Ask for more information.

Mattocks of any radio frequencies the crew may be using in addition to applying for permission for any filming

MSA Academy. Friday. Driver training is included in this championship. This will complement
private driver coaching you receive with your team. The Friday session for anti-doping is mandatory for all
drivers, and presented by Adam Gould. This advises current banned and permitted medication – some of
which could be ‘over the counter’ remedies for routine ailments. Session starts at 10:00. All drivers will be
signed-in. Parents and coaches also welcome.
3.2.1 Media Coaching. Friday. Donington Park. This valuable opportunity with ITV4 pit lane reporter Louise
Goodman will help improve your interviews; get the most benefit from camera work, and increase confidence.
There is only one training session of this kind in the 2015 season. Lunch included. Observers welcome.
11:00-15:00.
3.3
Support Race Test Day and BTCC Paddock:
On Thursday, April 16, there is strictly no parking for any Support Race vehicles in Paddock 1 (i.e. behind the
garages or the area between the fence and the white line). Teams can work from garages during their morning
test sessions only but they must not leave equipment in the garages.
3.3.1
Support Race Pit Lane Entry / Exit and Test Day Re-fuelling:
Entry for pit lane equipment for both the test day and the race weekend will be via the gate next to the Race
Control building – accessed along the road behind the BTCC paddock (not through the BTCC paddock).
Exit for pit lane equipment on both the test day and the race weekend will be through the gate next to Garage
38. Re-fuelling (if necessary) during the Support Race test day on Thursday may only take place in the Parc
Ferme area.
3.4
Motorhomes:
Motorhome area in Paddock 2 behind the Support event Race Centres (on the left hand side at the top of the
slope once through the paddock gate). Overflow motorhome area is on the grass on the Melbourne Loop.
There is no generator power available for these unless booked in advance. Motorhomes caused many power
outages last year by hooking up to the paddock generators and overloading them, please book ahead.
Camping vehicles detailed with Penny will gain entry, and should receive screen passes at Donington Park.
3.5
Paddock Pack-Down
The Support Race paddock must be clear by Noon, Tuesday April 21.

4.
Important Information:
4.1
Competitors Car Park: The Competitors Car Park at all times is the area outside the paddock
entrance (next to and opposite the Paddock Wall) as directed by security personnel (and NOT inside the
paddock).
AT ANY TIME: Vehicles with Competitors Car Park vehicle passes or without passes will not be permitted
inside Paddock 2 (Support Race paddock) or Paddock 1 (BTCC paddock). Anybody who needs to bring in
a vehicle to unload must get a Temporary Paddock Access pass first – these are available from the TOCA
Championship Co-ordinator.
4.2
Live Television:
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the demands of the live ITV broadcast, the event timetable on Sunday is flexible to
allow for any unforeseen circumstances on the day. Therefore start times, particularly for the BTCC races,
may change at short notice and teams/competitors will be notified by event officials if/when that happens.
Motorsport UK programme transmissions for Donington Park will be shown on ITV4 at the end of May.
4.3
Security:
For added security, it is advisable to not leave your race transporters open or unattended during your
sessions. Lap tops and race equipment security alert at this venue.
4.4
Team Guest Ticket Collection Point:
A Ticket Collection Point will be in operation in the Accreditation Hut, opposite the Paddock entrance. This
will be open between 07.00 and 13.00 on Sunday, April 19. Teams can drop off tickets/passes, in marked
envelopes (include your mobile number) to Richard Randle in the Media Centre (above the pit garages), by
17.00 on Saturday, April 18, or drop them at the Accreditation Hut after 07.00 on Sunday, April 19.

5.3
Parking for all cars, vans, crew buses, etc. is in the Competitors Car Park.
5.4
Empty Carless fuel cans should be left tidily in the specific fuel can storage area in Paddock 2 (see
MSO for location) Please ensure that all waste oil is placed in the containers provided by the circuit and not
put into empty Carless fuel cans (along with any other substances) as these incur high costs to recycle and
the costs will be passed on to all teams.
5.5
All competitors / teams within the TOCA package must return used/unwanted tyres back to their
tyre supplier (if that is the agreement with the tyre supplier) or take them away with them on departure. DO

charged by the circuit for disposal.
