Roger’s Ford Lincoln Dealer took home the trifecta of wins
in new and used car sales and service. The business, which has
earned gold and silver stars in the past, bases its success on the
philosophy locally-empowered customer satisfaction.
“We just try to take care of the customer, bottom line,” said
Beau Moore, new car and truck sales manager. “We are a locally
owned company for about 50 years. The owners empower us to
take care of the customers.”
Top sellers are the F-150 and F-250 trucks and Focus and Fusion cars, both newly-designed, fuel efficient and safe.
“We won’t take advantage of customers because of the boom
we are in. We want to give a customer a fair deal regardless of
what the economy is doing,” he said.
James Strawbridge, used car sales manager, echoed Moore.
“Number one priority at Roger’s Ford is customer satisfaction
and that’s what we strive for,” he said.
Filling a sales lot with clean, mechanically sound vehicles is
challenging, especially seeking out those with higher end op-
tions like leather, navigation and sun roofs, which are customer
favorites. Certified pre-owned Ford and Lincoln products come
with individual warranties. Fords are warranted for 12 months
or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. Lincolns are comprehensively warranted for six years or 100,000 miles on more than
500 components.
“If a car has problem we didn’t know about, we definitely
get it in and get it taken care of,” Strawbridge said. “Customer
satisfaction is our number one priority.”
In the service department, Manager Jacob Klein works with
customers in a different way because often a vehicle must be left
over night or for several days for repairs. A customer may borrow one of two vehicles available for that purpose and a rental
agency is available, too, he said.
“It’s all about the team. The team is well trained, and you have
to empower the team to make decisions to assist the customer.
It helps a lot to have us right here in Midland,” Klein said.
Roger’s Ford is adding on to its service department by adding
“Roger’s Fast Lube expected to open in August. The maintenance business located on Brinson Street will offer oil changes,
air and fuel filter changes, flat repair and state safety inspections.
“I want every customer to have an excellent experience when
they come into our dealership,” Klein said.
In addition to construction of Roger’s Fast Lube, Moore said
the dealership is scheduled for a face lift and installation of a
new car wash to cut delivery time to new purchasers.
“We know Midland’s watching us, and we don’t want to let
them down. We want to provide a quality product at a good
price without sacrificing customer service,” Moore said.
