Mark Reno will highlight some major business ethics issues and, through an Ivey Business School case study, show how to apply sound principles of ethical reasoning and decision-making that result in responsible courses of action. The second part of the day focuses on ethics and leadership. Mark starts by sharing the results of Ivey Business School’s research on leader character; then, leads discussion on how you, personally and your board – as leaders – can apply “good character” to enhance your decision-making process, the results of which may have impact at the organizational, system, and societal levels. As Ivey Business School’s first post-doctoral research fellow, Mark conducted world-leading research into the nature of good character in business leadership.
