Rio de Janeiro, March 31, 2015 – Another hit pop attraction has just been confirmed for the
Rock in Rio line-up, in September, in the City of Rock. Swedish singer Robyn will perform on
the World Stage on September 27, prior to A-Ha and the headliner of the night, Katy Perry.
A four-time Swedish Grammy winner, Robyn released her first album, Robyn Is Here in the
early 1990s, when she was only 16. The album's success earned her top slot in Swedish charts.
Her hits, Do You Know (What It Takes) and Show Me Love, made it to the Top 10 on the
Billboard Hot 100 in the USA. Robyn's work goes beyond the stage: the singer has also been a
UNICEF ambassador since 1999.
In 2005, with the release of her fourth album, the self-titled Robyn, the artist won the Swedish
Grammy for Best Album, Best Female Pop Vocal and Best Composer. Five years later, Robyn
promoted an ambitious music project, releasing the album trilogy Body Talk – all the mini
albums were released in the same year. Robyn has previously toured alongside Coldplay and
collaborated with Snoop Dogg. Last year she released, Do It Again, with the duo Röyksopp, a
blend of electronic pop music.
The Brazilian edition of Rock in Rio is confirmed for September 18, 19, 20, 24, 25, 26, 27 at the
